FONDERIE DU POITOU FONTE est la plus grande fonderie de carter-Cylindres de France. Depuis 1981, elle développe et fabrique ses produits en fonte pour les constructeurs automobiles tout en partageant son site avec Saint-Jean Industrie, fonderie d’aluminium.

Grâce à l’expérience de 405 salariés et plus de 300 000 m² de surface industrielle, ce sont près de 45 000 000 carter-cylindres qui ont été produits pour tous les modèles diesel de Renault, Fiat, Suzuki ou encore Marutti.

Suite à un retournement rapide de l’industrie automobile, Fonderie Poitou Fonte a choisi d’adopter un nouveau plan stratégique afin de redéployer ses compétences, s’affranchir du produit carter et diversifier sa production. C’est pour relever ce défi et permettre la réussite de son plan de redressement que Fonderie Poitou Fonte est à la recherche d’un repreneur.

FONDERIE DU POITOU FONTE is the biggest cylinder blocks foundry in France. Since 1981, the foundry develops and manufactures its cast iron products for automotive manufacturers while sharing the site with Saint-Jean Industrie, an aluminum foundry.

Thanks to the experience of 405 employees and more than 300,000 m² of industrial surface, nearly 45,000,000 crankcases were produced for all Renault, Fiat, Suzuki and Marutti diesel models.

Following a rapid turnaround in the automotive industry, Fonderie Poitou Fonte has chosen to adopt a new strategic plan to redeploy its skills, overcome the carter product and diversify its production. It is to meet this challenge and allow the success of its recovery plan that Fonderie Poitou Fonte is looking for a buyer.
